Cannondale RT 3000, L/S, Dura Ace

Very nice, made in the USA, Cannondale RT3000 with many high end upgrades. This is a light, stiff, rocket ship ride. Great climber, but still comfortable enough for long rides. Frame size is Large/Small. I'd say a captain from about 5'8" to 6'2" and stoker from about 5'0" to 5'8" would work depending of course on stem, bar, and seat sizes and adjustments. As pictured it's set up for 5'10.5" captain and 5'1" stoker. Really cool "Purpleen" metal flake paint that is purple in the shade, green in the sun. Cosmetically it's very nice. A few paint chips, shoe rub on some of the crank arms, but that's about it. Comes with original wheels which are respectable Mavic T217 on Shimano HF06/07 hubs 40 3 cross straight gauge spokes. Also included is a really nice set of race day wheels - Velocity Dyad on a sweet White Industries tandem hub rear, Dura Ace hub front, both 36 3 cross with DT 14/15 double butted spokes. These wheels have very low miles. I ran a disk on the back but went back to the Tektro Ti CR 720 cantis which provided better feel and stopping power. That with the stiff DA 7800 brake on the front are more than enough. Includes the original beefy chromoly fork that weighs a ton. I upgraded it with a Reynolds Ouzo Pro carbon tandem fork. As pictured I'm guessing it's around 32-33 lbs, I've had it as low as 31.
