R&E Cycles Model 20/14 Rohloff Custom Speedhub

This custom tandem was built by Seattle’s Rodriguez Cycles for us in 2017 at a cost of $11,000.00. It is model 20/14 (20inch wheels with 14couplers) especially made for travel to be able to break it down and pack into two suitcases. It sports a Rohloff Custom Speedhub. We have ridden it for the past 8 years and had a lot of fun on it but are now ready to sell it as we have moved to e-trikes now that we are aging into our 80s. We have ridden this tandem all over the USA and abroad since it disassembles for transporting easily by car or plane. It truly is a fun bike to ride and very comfortable. So now we want it to find a new home. The 14 speed Rohloff Speedhub set up along with a suspension seat post for the stoker. It uses rim brakes in front and back along with a front hub brake that can be used for a long decent so as to not over heat the rims. We do have all of the original paper work on the bike as well as a shipping bag and covers we made for the tubes when the bike is being transported in a case. I have included a photo of another R&E 20/14 with it separated into it parts so it can be transported. Our bike has obviously been ridden and is not new so we don’t expect to get back what we bought it for but we would like to get at least 50% ($5500.00) for it.
