Own one of only 5 Pedersen Tandem Bicycles in America. The Pedersen was invented in the 1890's, look them up online. This tandem was made in Germany 6 years ago and brought to the US by me as a frame, fork, seats, and handlebars. The company that makes them only made them on demand and once a year. I do not believe they still make the tandem. This is a medium. I have a 30 inch inseam and my wife is 5 foot 2 inches. We can ride, but it is a stretch. The seat post is at its bottom and will go up. The seats are very comfortable as they are like a hammock. It is set up with a single speed but nearly any drive train can be put on. Be the only one in your club, city and probably state to have one. Show up at any Tandem Rally and be ready for questions and photos.
