Real nice, Santana Arriva Tandem. I bought the bike in 1994 or so.
In 2005 (or so) I sent the frame back to Santana and they welded a bigger head tube so I could mount their Carbon Fiber Fork. They also repainted and put new decals on it. So, the frame/fork/paint is like a 2005 bike.
Chrome Moly frame and Carbon Fiber Fork. The shifting (and whole driveline) was updated in 2018 to Shimano Ultregra Di2 electronic shifting. It shifts great and is geared for mild hills. It's a double now, not a triple. Carbon Fiber crank arms as well. The brakes have also been upgraded to better tandem brakes in 2019. The frame has a mount for an additional disc or drum brake.
We love this bike, but bought a new Santana 2 years ago. I kept it for a while, thinking we could loan it to friends. I spent over $2,000 on shifting upgrade. This bike is a steal for $1,800, an I couldn’t bear to let it go for much less.
Asking price is $1800.
Bike is located in Tulsa, OK. Local pick up (come ride Route 66) or I will have my LBS professionally pack and ship it at buyer’s expense. Cash or Venmo accepted.
